During East Meadow High School’s senior athlete commitment ceremony, eight students took the next step in their academic journeys as they announced their college plans.

East Meadow High School officials recognized eight student athletes on May 25, as these exceptional Jets announced their postsecondary plans during the senior athlete commitment ceremony.
Family members, friends and educators surrounded the students as they were individually recognized for signing letters of Intent to compete in various sports at Division I and II colleges. East Meadow School District leaders said they wish these students success:
- Matt Mascia – University of New Hampshire, football (Division I)
- Crista San Antonio – Providence College, softball (Division I)
- Megan Bender – East Stroudsburg University, lacrosse (Division II)
- Juliane Fitzsimmons – East Stroudsburg University, soccer (Division II)
- Zach Fritz – LIU Post, baseball (Division II)
- Emily Leeb – Kutztown University, lacrosse (Division II)
- Melissa Peysson – Dominican College, lacrosse (Division II)
- Michael Reyes – Dominican College, lacrosse (Division II)
