The East Meadow Kiwanis Club installed its new president, Kevin Kamper, and other officers at its 63rd Annual Installation Dinner last Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Chateau Briand Catering Hall in Carle Place.

Outgoing president James Smith, who will serve as treasurer for 2014-15, handed the club’s reins to Kamper, 49, an East Meadow resident of 19 years. Debbie Kirsh, who was president from 2012-13, thanked Smith for his service at the ceremony, and presented him with a brand new golf club.

The 2014-15 officers are:
