The CASA holiday tree lighting, a longtime tradition in Salisbury, went on this year despite the frigid, windy conditions as the sun set last Friday.
Guests were rewarded with a performance from the W.T. Clarke High School chorus, a visit from Santa, and some hot chocolate to keep them warm.
CASA — the Community Association of Stewart Avenue — holds the holiday lighting annually in the yard next to the Carvel on Carman Avenue.
