Fourth-grade teacher, Elena DiCocco, ran her sixth annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony last week to honor men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
The fourth-grade students honored veterans by reading about the origin of Veteran’s Day and taps and listing the important character traits that veterans exemplify. The students also sang “Hero” by Mariah Carey.
Among the military men present were representatives from the Coast Guard, Marines and Navy.
