Bowling Green student is a Recycle Poster Contest winner

Yeonwoo Lee, with her Bowling Green Elementary School teacher Teresa Fjellstad, was a recent winner in the Town of Hempstead’s 2015 Recycle Poster Contest. Her artwork will be used to promote recycling townwide.

Yeonwoo Lee, a fourth grader at Bowling Green Elementary School, was a recent winner of the Town of Hempstead’s 215 Recycle Poster Contest, which promotes the importance of preserving and protecting the environment.

Her work will be prominently displayed on the town’s department of sanitation garbage and recycling trucks on a rotating basis.
