East Meadow organization hosts Networking Night, other upcoming events

The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce invited residents and businesses to Jake’s Tavern on March 2 for Networking Night. The evening included a free buffet provided by the Nile and chances to participate in raffles for prizes donated by Chamber members. Those on hand had the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow business owners, civic leaders and community members.

The Chamber, which meets monthly on the first Wednesday of each month. The organization also hosts an array of events open to the community, including the Wine Tasting, Casino Night, Culinary Delights and more. 

A wine tasting, sponsored by the Chamber, will be held on April 1 at Spumante Restaurant on 1650 Hempstead Turnpike. Enjoy an evening of fine wines and food for $50 a person. For more information, call Steve Haller at (516) 731-4892. On April 6, the Chamber hosts its general meeting, at Potter’s Pub on 2045 Hempstead Turnpike. The meeting, which starts at 12:30 p.m., will include a presentation by NuHealth, which operates the Nassau University Medical Center.
