Clarke loses in semifinals

Clarke senior Gary Tamney broke a tackle against Seaford, but it wasn’t enough, as the undefeated Vikings downed the Rams in a Nassau Conference IV semifinal game at Hofstra, 47-20, on Nov. 12. The Rams, who lost their first four games, rallied with three wins in the second half of the season to earn a playoff spot and upset second-seeded Roosevelt in the first round.
