The W.T. Clarke Key Club held its annual Halloween carnival at Bowling Green Elementary School on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Key Club members transformed the Bowling Green all-purpose room into a creepy carnival with direction from President Gina Principato and faculty advisor Robert Van Auken.

More than 40 Key Clubbers sprang into action as the costumed elementary school students filled the room. The students won prizes for balloon shaving and mummy wrapping, had their faces painted and devoured platefuls of sweets.

All the students wore creative and creepy costumes, but the best of the bunch won awards dressed as a vampire, wash basket, bloody dinner table, zombie prom queen and a Starburst candy package.

Everyone had a fun time at the carnival and the high school students raised around $1,000 for the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
