Hempstead Town Councilman Gary Hudes, left, presented a Town of Hempstead Certificate of Recognition to John Annunziata of East Meadow in honor of his attaining the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 362. The honoree’s Eagle Scout project involved the rebuilding of fencing protecting an organic garden and a lake at Old Bethpage Village Restoration.
