Chamber presents check to Autism Society

During its April general meeting on April 7, the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce presented a check for $2,525 to the Nassau-Suffolk Autism Society. The funds were donated through proceeds from the Chamber's annual Culinary Delights event, held every September. The annual event, which showcases local restaurants, markets, delis and other eateries, raises money for three causes: the Autism Society, the Nassau University Medical Center Pediatric Center, and Kamp Kiwanis. Donations to the NUMC Pediatric Center and Kamp Kiwanis will be made at later dates.
