Forgery

    A Rosedale man was arrested on June 4 in Westbury after police said he purchased more than $600 worth of merchandise at Best Buy using a fraudulent credit card, police said.  The defendant, Christopher Shearer, 23, returned to the store that day, where he was subsequently arrested and found to be in possession of additional fraudulent credit cards, police said. Shearer was charged with 11 counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, police said, and was arraigned on June 5 in First District Court.

Robbery

    - A wallet with credit cards was stolen from a vehicle at Eisenhower Park on May 26, sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.
    - A catalytic converter was removed from a 1995 Toyota at Eisenhower Park Field 7A, sometime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 31.

Assault

    - Police said an inmate, Harvey Saunders, 20, at the Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow, was apprehended for punching another inmate in the face on May 18 at about 2:45 p.m.

Grand Larceny Auto

    - A 2010 Kia was stolen on June 2 from a dealership located on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
