Early Saturday, Aug. 13, East Meadow resident Kevin Lherisson was found dead underneath the Babylon train platform.

Around 3 a.m., a Long Island Rail Road crewmember, whose train had just arrived at the Babylon station, was informed by a customer that a man may have fallen onto the tracks, says LIRR spokesman Salvatore Arena.

MTA Police responded and found the 24-year-old underneath the westbound platform. At this time it is still unknown whether the man fell to the tracks or was knocked down by a passing train. Police are still investigating.

Lherisson worked at Geico in Woodbury, according to co-worker and friend Ivory Elder.

“I’m deeply saddened that my best friend is gone,” said Elder. “Even now I can hear his laugh, which made other people smile. If Kevin were here today I would tell him how much I love him and how very special he is to me. My life is forever changed.”
