The 20th annual East Meadow Community Pride Day was held on June 11 at Speno Park. The free event included a health fair, and there were rides, a slide, Velcro Olympics, games for kids, demonstrations, fire safety tours, refreshments, face painting, live music and more.
The event was sponsored and organized by the East Meadow Kiwanis Club with the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, and supported by more than 50 businesses and local organizations.
