East Meadow track soars in national meet

East Meadow’s Chris Garzia, Tom Milian, Baffour Obiem and Tom Ford, pictured left to right, finished second in the 4 x 110 Shuttle Hurdle Relay at the New Balance Outdoor Track and Field National Championship meet, held June 17-18 at North Carolina A & T University. The foursome completed the race in 59.85 seconds, marking the best time in New York State. The Jets are coached by Jim McGlynn.
