The two-day 4th annual Fall Festival at the East Meadow Farm will kick off this Friday, Sept. 18.

The farm, at 832 Merrick Avenue, just south of Prospect Avenue near the border of Merrick, is operated and maintained by Cornell Cooperative Extension, in partnership with Nassau County.

Festivities will include children’s activities, a flea market, pumpkin picking, tours and lectures by the farm’s master gardeners and demonstrations by nutritionists.

There will be plenty of food available, including locally grown vegetables, quiche, cookies, apples, roasted corn, apple cider donuts, popcorn and more. There will also be vendors on site.

The festival will take place between 1 and 6 p.m. on Friday and continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
