East Meadow residents could not have asked for better weather for last Saturday’s 23rd Annual Community Pride Day, a family-oriented event hosted by the Kiwanis Club of East Meadow.
The sunny, 80-degree weather was a stark — and more favorable — contrast to last year, when inclement weather forced the event to be postponed. But residents came out in droves to Speno Park to enjoy the day of community, rides, games, and visit booths showcasing local businesses.
Indeed, pride is very much alive in East Meadow.
