Girl Scouting’s highest honor

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray presented an official Town of Hempstead citation and certificates of recognition to the proud recipients of the Gold Award at the East Meadow Girl Scout Troop 1405 award ceremony held at East Meadow High School.

The Gold Award, Girl Scouting’s highest honor, is earned over a three-year period and requires more than 100 hours of community service.
