Talented team tips off against teachers at fundraiser event

The crowd was lively on March 18 in the W.T. Clarke High School gymnasium. But it wasn’t because of the lopsided score. It was the antics, tricks and skills exhibited by the Harlem Wizards, who took on the teachers at Clarke during a fundraiser basketball game.

Fans watched their teachers put up a good effort against the Wizards, who play in gymnasiums around the country. Fans even had a chance to participate, as they were welcomed onto the court for the halftime show.

The basketball game benefited the W.T. Clarke Athletic Parents and Booster Club, an organization that funds scholarships for student athletes and provides support for school athletic programs.
