W.T. Clarke and East Meadow high school students marched in the Columbus Day Parade in New York City last Monday.
The flag twirling teams and marching bands joyously represented their schools and East Meadow High School announced Tuesday that their marching band placed first among all bands represented at the parade.
More than 35,000 participants marched down 5th Avenue this year.
