Island Harvest and East Meadow Soccer Club celebrated their Partnership Kick-Off event on June 12 at Speno Park located in East Meadow. They have joined forces to collect food for the poor. Above, Island Harvest President Randi Shubin Dresner, center, back row, and members of the East Meadow Soccer Club welcomed Town Supervisor Kate Murray, County Legislator Norma Gonsalves, Town Councilman Gary Hudes, Town Clerk Mark Bonilla and Receiver of Taxes Don Clavin who were on hand to present a citation in recognition of the partnership.
