Meadowbrook awarded ExxonMobil grant

Meadowbrook Elementary School in the East Meadow Union Free School District was awarded a grant in the amount of $750 by ExxonMobil’s Education Alliance Program.
Owen Cavanaugh, Field Operations Manager for ExxonMobil, presented a check to Principal Susan Hyde during the school’s annual Winter Concert.
The financial assistance comes from the Mobil on the Run station, owned and operated by Harry Singh, on the corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Newbridge Road in East Meadow. This is the seventh year that Meadowbrook has been awarded this grant, and it will be used to purchase materials for the Meadowbrook Literacy Center.
The Meadowbrook School family thanked Singh for his continued support of the students and the investment in their future.
