Little League hosts annual parade

After a long winter and some disappointing weather to start the spring, the East Meadow Baseball/Softball Association officially opened its season with its annual Little League parade last Saturday.

Though many games have been played across most divisions, the day gave players a chance to express team pride through the streets of East Meadow. The event began at Veterans Memorial Park and made its way to the East Meadow baseball/softball complex on Merrick Avenue.
