Residents will have the chance to show their community pride this Saturday at Speno Park, on East Meadow Avenue, as the East Meadow Kiwanis Club hosts its 24th annual Pride Day community festival.

The free event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will offer an assortment of activities ranging from children’s games to rides, sports, arts and crafts, live music and a health fair.

As there will be limited parking at Speno Park, residents are encouraged to park at Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of East Meadow and Prospect avenues, where there will be free bus shuttle service from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
