The Community Association of Stewart Avenue held its 26th Annual Holiday Lighting on the town green in Salisbury on Friday, Dec. 9.

Many neighbors gathered together to watch as day turned to night and the community Christmas tree and menorah were lit.

W.T. Clarke High School chorus, led by music director Robin Hall, entertained the crowd with festive tunes. In addition, the East Meadow Fire Department arrived with Santa in tow and children immediately lined up to share their holiday hopes and dreams with the jolly icon.

“We have a warm, wonderful neighborhood and we are happy to continue this tradition year after year,” said CASA President Helen Meittinis.
