County Executive Ed Mangano recently announced that a network of Santa Claus’s mailboxes has been installed in various Nassau parks. Several of them are located in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.

The Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums will forward letters placed in the boxes to Santa. Old Saint Nick will answer letters received by Tuesday, Dec. 15 that include a legible name and return address. No postage is necessary.

The colorful red and green boxes will be accessible from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At Eisenhower, they’re located in the following places:

  • Lannin House at Parking Field No. 6 (572-0348)
  • Nassau Aquatic Center at Parking Field No. 1A (572-0501)
  • Eisenhower Park Administration Building (available Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m) (572-0200).
