Adults from across the hamlet reunited in East Meadow High School’s Little Theatre on Dec. 8 for the school’s production of “Larceny and Old Lace.”

The play revolves around humble Harold, portrayed by Justin Colon, whose aunts Millie and Gertie, portrayed by Michelle Williams and Jaden Nogee respectively, go on a gambling spree in Las Vegas. Harold is stuck home with his kooky uncle Charlie, portrayed by Thomas Gregorio, who dons a pirate costume throughout the play. Harold’s life is turned upside down when a mysterious bag of money is found in his home, causing him to name Charlie as the culprit and declaring to place him in a senior citizens’ home. The play follows Harold’s journey to discovering whose money is in the home, while keeping his fiancée from walking out on him.

The teens put on the special performance for senior citizens, drawing laughs and claps. The next production set to hit the stage is “Mr. and Mrs. Hale” from March 24-26.
