Students donate books to NUMC

The Student Council at Meadowbrook Elementary School recently purchased and donated books to Nassau University Medical Center’s (NUMC) “Read Around the World” program at the hospital’s pediatric clinic, located in East Meadow.
The books, which were presented to NUMC’s Director of Therapeutic Recreation Linda Walsh, will be placed in the NUMC Pediatric Library where volunteers at the hospital can read to the children.
