A community is in mourning since it was comfirmed today by Lynbrook police that Lynbrook School Superintendent Dr. Santo Barbarino died unexpectedly on Monday. He was 67.
Barbarino, who was the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, replaced Dr. Philip Cicero as superintendent for the district in 2008.
