During the relocation of students, teachers, administrators, guidance counselors and social workers, the district used office space in the middle school to create 10 more classrooms and moved computers, desks, chairs and musical instruments and other equipment to the middle school.

High School science teacher Rebecca Isseroff said she is looking forward to returning to the high school. Her student research team is working in a science storage closet. “I am so excited, I am counting the seconds, it can’t come soon enough,” she said, adding that it has been one of those situation that “you don’t appreciate what you have until you don’t have it.”

The high school is one of the four polling places where district residents can vote on the March 20 public referendum concerning the potential sale of the Number Six School.
