The all-volunteer Atlantic Beach Rescue hosted the Nassau County EMS Water Rescue Exercise for the 10th consecutive year on Aug. 18, as 10 county fire departments and emergency medical service agencies took part in the training that included in and out of water rescue and EMS skills. The drill was sponsored by the county’s Vocational Education and Extension Board Fire Service Academy and took place at the Eldorado Bayfront in Atlantic Beach.
