Attempted robbery at Radio Shack in Cedarhurst

Two men allegedly threw a chunk of concrete through the front glass door of the Radio Shack at 525 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst at 4:47 a.m. on Aug. 12, according to police.

They entered the store, but left shortly thereafter without any proceeds, police said.

One man is described as having a medium build, wearing a blue hooded shirt, dark gray or black pants and white gloves. The other man has a stocky build, and was wearing a dark knit cap, dark sweatshirt, dark pants and white gloves. Both were last seen heading east on Central Avenue on foot.
