Blood drive at Hewlett-Woodmere library

The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library in Hewlett hosted a blood drive on Aug. 30. Twenty-three people donated 21 pints of blood, according to blood drive coordinator Millicent Vollono, who is one of the library’s reference librarians.
