While it has been the Pandemic Times during the early 2020s, for alumni, grandparents, parents, staff of The Brandeis School in Lawrence it was the roaring 1920s as the annual gala and fundraiser took place online on March 6 and all took part in solving a virtual murder mystery “Murder in the Mishpacha.”

Each participant was assigned a role to play. Gift baskets were delivered to all participants and sponsors prior to the event to be enjoyed throughout the game and included ingredients for a “Whodunnit Whiskey” cocktail, chocolate cigars and bar snacks.

Organized by Jest Murder Mystery Company, the 90-minute program was interactive, and school officials said it was “entertaining and a great time was had by all.”
