To recognize Teachers Appreciation Week, students at the Brandeis School in Lawrence decided to pay a visit to their head of school.

On May 8, roughly 75 cars filled with Brandeis students and parents surprised Brandeis Head of School, Raz Levin, by driving by his home and dropping off thank you notes, messages and cards to show appreciation for the efforts put in place to transition Brandeis to remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic.

Levin said the transition to remote learning has been a team effort.

"While I appreciate this amazing warm feeling of being exposed to something like this for the first time in my life, I would like to emphasize that the true appreciation goes to every member of the Brandeis School Staff, because we are one team," Levin said. "The head always needs the rest of the body to stand on and walk with."
