At the annual Five Towns Community Center Christmas on Dec. 17 every child brings a toy and spreads the message of joy during this holiday season.

The Five Towns Community Center at 270 Lawrence Ave., in Lawrence held its annual Giving Thanks Christmas party coordinated by the center’s Teen Board on Dec. 17.
Every child that attended brought a toy and nearly 40 toys were collected and will be given to St. John’s Baptist Church in Inwood for its Angel Tree Ministry which then gives the toys to children in need.
