CALE officers installed by Supervisor-elect Gillen

The Hewlett-based Center for Adult Life Enrichment held its annual installation of officers ceremony at the Atria of Lynbrook on Dec. 14 with Town of Hempstead Supervisor-Elect Laura Gillen administering the oath of office to the CALE Board of Directors and Advisory Council officers.

CALE is in its 68th year of offering programs and services for older adults. It is housed in what was the carriage house at 37 East Rockaway Road on the Hewlett Estate, now the Hewlett High School campus.

The executive board includes President Richard Braverman, co-Vice Presidents, Bella Cohen and Norma Rosenberg, Treasurer Marilyn Cranin, Secretary Barbara McNiff and Corresponding Secretary Francine Feigenbaum.

Board members include Jeffrey Bessen, Jean Bobick, Gloria Boris, Pearl Cande, Dr. Andrea Golden, Allan Green, Sunya Kleiner, Rhonnie Fischman, Wendy Garfield, Iris Gorenberg, James Kreizel, Helen Pollack and Dr. Peter Rosenthal.
