The old carriage house on the campus of Hewlett High School that serves as the home of the Center for Adult Life Enrichment (CALE) was a beehive of activity as the group held its annual open house, last Sunday.
Art created by CALE members was sold, with 15 percent of the sale benefitting the organization that provides a bevy of programs, activities and trips to its members. The Stardust Singers performed and coffee and cake was served during the three-hour event.
