Snow, freezing rain and ice could result in hazardous road conditions before the precipitation changes to rain.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the South Shore of Nassau County, including the Five Towns until midnight tonight as up to three inches of snow could accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.
There is also a coastal flood advisory in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Snow and freezing rain could result in hazardous road conditions, as roadways could ice before the precipitation changes to all rain later tonight. There also could be limited visibility.
