Cedarhurst-based Kulanu springs into art

Kulanu Center for Special Services in Cedarhurst held its spring Arts and Science Festival on May 30. Students exhibited a wide range of work that applied what they learned in the classroom.

Coordinated by teacher Ray Guarneri, the festival “Let Kulanu show how ALL of US (KULANU) can help!” focused on nature. Learning about endangered species, plants and how they grow, and the earth and how to conserve resources and preserve it were reflected in the art and science projects that were a collaboration between students, teachers and therapists.
