On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Columbus Day, the 31st annual Five Towns Community Chest fair took up residence in Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park with its rides, games, exhibit booths, entertainment and food that ranged from Italian sausage to Wok Tov’s kosher Chinese offerings.
Boz the magician showed off his comedic magical act to the kids, KT Connection played two sets of familiar songs, there was a karate exhibition and several elected officials made an appearance.
Woodmere-based Community Chest raises money that supports a few community-oriented organizations and occasionally gives to people or families in need.
