Light Rain Fog/Mist Celebrating Christmas at the Five Towns Community Center

Lights Before Christmas attendees could not wait to get those holiday cupcakes at the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence last month.

From Lights Before Christmas on Dec. 14 to a kids’ holiday party on Dec. 20, the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence was hopping with Santa Claus visits, food and music.
At Lights Before Christmas, not only was Santa there but also Mickey Mouse who joined with a mariachi band to create a fun atmosphere that included balloons, candy canes, cupcakes, hot chocolate and pizza.
Arts and crafts, a DJ, a free dinner, gifts from Old St. Nick, a hot cocoa station, a kid’s coat drive and a Smores table highlighted the free party five days before Christmas coordinated by Atasha Mays-Fredericks and several other helpful elves for children 12 and under.
