Champion boxer coming to Lawrence

Congregation Beth Sholom at 390 Broadway, Lawrence, will be presenting a breakfast with the current World Boxing Association superweight champion of the world Yuri Foreman on Sunday, morning, March 7.

Foreman, who emigrated from Belarus to Israel at age 9, is currently 28-0 as a middleweight boxer and recently became superweight champion. Foreman will speak starting at 9 a.m. immediately following an 8:30 a.m. prayer service. After the Israeli champion boxer makes his presentation there will be a question and answer session.
