Fair Cherise Wolas will visit Blue Door Books
Blue Door Books, an independent bookstore in Cedarhurst will host bestselling author Cherise Wolas on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. to discuss her new novel “The Family Tabor.”
The novel is considered a hypnotic generational saga set in Palm Springs, Calif., during a single momentous weekend. On the eve of Tabor family patriarch Harry receiving a lifetime achievement award for his contributions to the plight of refugees, family members come together to celebrate just as they are each facing a crisis of conscience, with none greater than Harry’s.
Wolas’ first book, “The Resurrection of John Ashby,” received wide critical acclaim, including The New York Times Book Review’s Editor’s Choice. The event is free and open to the public.
