Laughter was in the house at the Lawrence Yacht & Country Club in Lawrence last Saturday when the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools Endowment Fund held its night of comedy.
Comedians Moody McCarthy and Ben Shaki provided the hilarity. There was also a dinner, music, dancing and raffles at the fundraising event to for the organization that supports academic and extra-curricular school district programs such as Project Bulldog, the community garden and Virtual Enterprise.
