Students in all four grades at Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School for Boys in Woodmere took park in the school’s Tzedakah Day, Sept. 27, and helped to collect money for charities.

The student body raised $2,500 that will go to help families who were affected by Hurricane Harvey in southeast Texas.

Tzedakah, is a traditional Jewish mitzvah — good deed — that is viewed as more than an act of generosity — it is responsibility and an act of justice to help those less fortunate.
