Five Towns Community Center serves up holiday meals

Among the many donations that were made by myriad Five Towns organizations and institutions to help feed people for Thanksgiving, the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence opened its doors for four hours on Nov. 21 and feed kids, teens and older adults a holiday meal.
For 108 years, the community center at 270 Lawrence Ave., which was first the Margaret Sage Industrial School, has provided services and programs and sought to address such issues as AIDS, substance abuse, housing, youth violence and gang formation.
