An Easter egg hunt, meeting the Eater bunny, music and goodies were all part of an eNVy-sponsored holiday event at the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence last Saturday.
Proceeds from the fun-filled event went to eNVy, a nonprofit organization founded by Inwood resident Patty Vacchio and her son, Danny, after Nicholas Vacchio, another son, died in 2011, after struggling with mental illness. The group’s mission is to reach the community’s struggling youth. A portion of the money was also donated to the Community Center.
