Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department firefighters extinguished a house fire on Allen Street in North Lawrence on Oct. 2.

Lawrence-Cedarhurst firefighters responded to a house fire on Allen Street in North Lawrence on Oct. 2.

The daytime blaze was “contained to the garage with slight extension to a home,” LCFD Chief James McHugh said, adding there were no injuries and the fire is not considered suspicious.
