Arrests

LAWRENCE-Kelly Kings, 39, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting merchandise valued at $111.83 from a store on Rockaway Turnpike at 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 25.

LAWRENCE- Azad Anthony Yusuf, 18, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting assorted clothing from a store on Rockaway Turnpike at 6 p.m. on Aug. 26.

Grand larceny

INWOOD-Tires and rims were stolen from s vehicle parked on Sheridan Boulevard between Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 6:10 a.m., police said.

Larceny

WOODMERE-A GPS was taken from a vehicle on Highland Place between 12:01 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 24, according to police.

LAWRENCE-A cell phone, cosmetics bag and a notebook were reported stolen by a customer of a store on Central Avenue, while she was shopping on Aug 29 between 11:30 and noon.

Identity theft

INWOOD-On Aug. 24 at 2:10 p.m., a resident reported being the victim of identity theft, when a person they didn’t know attempted to conduct a $10,000 wire transfer to a bank in Florida.
