Arrests

LAWRENCE – Surendranath K. Reddy, 73, of Woodmere, was arrested for driving while intoxicated at the intersection of the Nassau Expressway and Rock Hall Road at 12:02 a.m. on April 19.

CEDARHURST – At the intersection of Rugby Road and Rockaway Turnpike, Joseph A. Rosales, 21, of Cedarhurst, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on April 20 at 3 a.m.

Petit larceny

CEDARHURST – Between April 18 at 8:30 p.m. and April 19 at 8 a.m., a chair was stolen from the front of a house on Summit Avenue, police said.

WOODMERE – A resident of a house on Hickox Avenue reported the theft of a leaf blower and a weed wacker at 3:10 p.m. on April 19, according to police.

Criminal mischief

INWOOD – The brick pillars of a residence on Elizabeth Street were knocked over and a trash can was taken on April 19 at 10:15 p.m., authorities said.

CEDARHURST – A garage on Argyle Road was damaged between April 19 at 8 p.m. and April 20 at 5 a.m., officials said.
